Spiritual Day tours in the Burren
Spiritual Day Tours in the Burren
Reconnect and rejuvenate yourself in nature on a spiritual day tour in the Burren, where you can stop to meditate for a while at sites I select for your specific soul needs, with the option of the deep resonating sounds of a mediation gong. You may try to dowse ley lines and find water lines or even write nature poetry. Whatever your own practice is I will honour it as you soak up the serenity of a secret landscape that few tourists find – the lesser-known sites of the Burren Lowlands.
Thank you Jackie! ... what splendid days and hours we shared ... communing with sacred places and the guardians of these lands and waters, trees and creatures ... flowers and winds
My soul is elevated and happy.
Now home I share with my community about my splendid guide who fully understood the spirit of my pilgrim vision of communing and ceremony.
In deepest gratitude to you.
Blessings and peace.

Slow Tourism
You can also purchase any of Jackie’s interesting books to remind you of your time in the Burren. We call our tours slow tours, or eco-wellness tours, and they last either a full or half-day according to demand. People can travel in convoy of personal cars by car-sharing, or hire electric bikes. The price is a reasonable €44 per person for a morning or €77 p.p. for a whole day tour (based on a minimum of four booking). Tours start in Kinvara or Gort. Enjoy lunch in the serene environs of Lady Gregory‘s old estate at Coole Park!
Nature Immersion Therapy
This area is ideally suited to “nature immersion therapy” as it has a wide variety of landscapes- lakes rivers, mountains, beautiful woodland and beaches.
Enquire here with your date for your therapeutic tour, guaranteed to be an adventure!
If you want to be sure of joining these varied tours please contact Jackie in advance, as at times she will be away on a longer tour. The deep meditative sounds of the gong and drum set the tone when played at a hidden dolmen, and we experiment with dowsing the energy field it emits. Learn dowsing at Kilmacduagh, where Ireland’s tallest round tower stands. Visit the wells and hidden oratories of St Colman who blessed this land in early Christian times. Visit caves and underground rivers and more… a day out of the ordinary awaits!
I just wanted to say again just how much I appreciate your spending time with me. It was a beautiful gift of yourself & I feel enriched for having met you.

That was the most peaceful place I've ever experienced in all my travels, and I've done many. The whole place exuded peacefulness; the rocks, the babbling spring, the sunlight through the trees. It's a perfect microcosm of peace and I'm going to remember it forever. It has entered me through and through. Thank you so much for taking us there.

Earth Energy Tour
This was a unique tour - an earth energy tour!
Dear Jackie, Thank you so much for the fantastic walk this morning!
I am still so excited with whole things. I was recommending your guided walk to everyone who I was speaking to today! Nobody knew about the walk and the amazing places!
I am very lucky. Yes, it was so rich and magical time.

Also, I felt like I was getting a recall from my distant memories...
It was very grounding and rejuvenating!!!

Thanks again!

Jackie, everyone really enjoyed your tour yesterday - so thank you so much. All the group were delighted with where you took them. The locations were scenic and your information both interesting and entertaining. The visit to Yeats' home and your reading of some of his linked poetry were really first class. Thanks for a fabulous time in the fresh air and countryside! I highly recommend anyone seeking a unique insight into the Burren and its history to engage Jackie as their expert guide.
Once again, thank you for taking my party of Californians round the Burren Lowlands.

I'm still reflecting on all the inspirations you left me with. It's days after that I begin to realize you're doing really special work. Climbing up and down the rocks with you was probably the most special experience I had in Ireland.

It was such a awesome experience with you.
I'm so glad you found the St. John's wort at the well, and the unusual orchids the flowers and bees were amazing.
I love this photo. (Jackie was guide for small private group retreat)

Thank you for a lovely day on Sunday. I enjoyed the day and found it very interesting.
I haven't had time to get to the ring fort yet to look for still points and ley lines but hopefully this week end I will

Thanks again for everything we enjoyed the trip and certainly had some great laughs. Our favorite place there was the farmer’s land and the fairy circle in the Burren.

Betsy & I truly enjoyed the day we spent sloshing around in our Wellies. As you know, the sights we saw and talked about have been of interest to me for a long time. I think I have some Templars in my family tree, so it was quite meaningful to walk around in what may have even been their former milieu. The Chapel itself is more real to me now for having seen it in full sweep rather than in snapshots in texts, and your presentation focused on details within the broader context. Your selection of sites and activities was just what we wanted to see and do

The two places that really resonated with me were the cave from where the river emerges and hearing the gong played in the beautiful ruined church site. Let me know when you are running the next one – I want to come!
