To officially launch my well-received illustrated guide book to the Burren in Ireland, I have been working on a fascinating talk about dragons, local myths and legendary landscapes in County Clare.

You are all welcome to this book launch The Burren Trails at Kilshanny House, near Ennistymon, that specialises in events. The venue is delightful and the setting is close to one of the sites I will be speaking of.  You will enjoy good hospitality and exciting live music composed by violinist Peter Aranos. Peter has accompanied my poetry and films in the past and now is complementing my talk on the legendary landscapes of County Clare.

I will talk of legendary places some of which are touched upon in my book The Burren Trails. This book fulfils a missing niche in the market for visitors by car and bike who often miss out on some of the hidden sites in the Burren co Clare and Galway in the west of Ireland, fringing the Wild Atlantic Way.  The guide also lists GPS, introductory maps and driving instructions.

Many guest houses and hotels are buying copies of the book for their guests, and tell me they find it invaluable as a reference book.
